Lev Spivak-Birndorf Invited to Speak at University of Minnesota Duluth

Isotopes: The Secret Chemical Language of the Universe.

PSI Labs firmly believes that cutting edge research science is essential for innovation in the laboratory.

Earlier this month, Lev collaborated on a project at Indiana University with Christian Schardt, a professor of geological sciences from the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMN).

Professor Schardt recently invited Lev to UMN’s Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences to speak about his postdoctoral research into the use of Nickel (Ni) isotopes to track the cycling of Ni between the crust, natural waters and organisms.

Lev presented some of his recent work, developing trace chemical and isotopic proxies to investigate the chemistry of the oceans on ancient Earth.
